We didn't take the breakfast as we had an early morning train. The reviews regarding the cleanliness weren't good and I was worried about this but our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Apart from our one night stay, the staff has been beyond kindness and was very professional. We forgot our kid's backpack at the hotel and in the rush my cellphone slipped from my bag into the taxi's trunk. As we were in our train, we asked if they could help us, which they did. They called Inverness Taxi for us, the cab driver brought it back the next day and in the meantime they found the backpack back. They sent all of this back to us. I think it is rare enough to mention it. A huge thank you for the professionalism and honesty of both the hotel's staff and cab driver.

We stayed 4 nights in a very clean and comfortable room overlooking the River Ness. It had a Bay window with 2 arm chairs we could relax in. It is a great place to stay as it is very centrally situated but just across the River from the Town Centre itself and so there was very little noise. In fact it was very quiet and had a lounge on the first floor you could sit in. A short walk from good Restaurants and the Eden Court Theatre and Cinema. Lovely walks along the River Ness and only 10 minutes walk to the Bus and Train Station. The Hotel is a nice old-fashioned Hotel which is reflected in the price, therefore, not as expensive as most other Hotels on the River Ness.

The hotel had obviously been a grand hotel in past years but is now a little bit on the tired side and needs some upgrades The room was clean but unfortunately a handle on the double wardrobe came off on 1st use as dis the robe hooks on the inside of the bathroom door. These were reported and repaired effectively and quickly. Any staff member spoken to in reception and dining area were polite friendly and attentive to the needs of guests. Excellent choices at breakfast buffet Hotel is in an ideal location about five minutes from the centre of Inverness with cheap car parking £5 for 24 hours a short distance from the hotel in the Cathedral car park

Norman

Location was excellent, right on the riverfront, 2 minutes walk from the cathedral, close to public transport, shops and dining. Beds were very comfortable, room spacious and warm, heater was very effective but hardly necessary . Breakfast had gluten free cereal but no nondairy milk, plenty of fruit, cooked and continental as well as porridge available. All seating was comfortable and there was an upstairs lounge which overlooked the river Ness

Tina

The hotel room was a great size, loved that the TV let us use Netflix. The bed was huge and so unbelievably comfortable. The staff were so helpful especially because my partner just had leg surgery and they got him ice for his leg which was so kind. The bar was great as we were able to take a couple drinks up to our room while we got ready to go out. It is in a perfect location in Inverness, everything is right on your doorstep.
